How to read a Pokémon TCG card

Identify the rarity
Look at the bottom right corner: circle = common, diamond = uncommon, star = rare.
Read the set code
The code under the name tells you which expansion it belongs to and its number in the set.
Look for edition marks
First edition cards have a special stamp. Reverse holo and full art have distinct textures.
