Terms of Use
The rules for using Draw Them All Dex, what you can upload, which licence you grant us and how moderation works.
Who we are and what this is
Draw Them All Dex is a non-profit community portal where artists illustrate every Pokémon with their own work. It is operated by Beyond Development CR (Costa Rica). Contact: info@bedevcr.com.
By creating an account or uploading content you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Content Rules.
Your account
- You must be 14 or over.
- One person, one account. Usernames are public and may not impersonate another person, brand or organisation.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account; keep your password safe and close any session you do not recognise from your profile.
- You can deactivate your account at any time from your profile. It stays paused for 30 days and is then deleted.
What you upload is yours, and what you let us do with it
You keep all rights to your artwork. By uploading it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:
- store, resize and convert it to other formats in order to display it on the site;
- show it on the Pokémon’s entry, on your profile, on the site’s home page (for example as “featured artwork”) and in the “Who’s that Pokémon?” game;
- send it to the automatic moderation systems described in the Privacy Policy;
- show it on our social media to promote the site, always with your username and a link to your profile.
This licence lasts while the artwork is published. If you delete the artwork or the account we stop showing it, except for temporary backups and whatever already circulates under the Creative Commons licence you chose.
When you upload an artwork you choose a licence for the rest of the community: CC BY, CC BY-SA or all rights reserved. It is explained in Licences. That choice is yours and we respect it.
What you warrant when you upload
- That the artwork is yours (or you have its author’s permission) and is not a copy, trace or reproduction of official art, game screenshots, cards, anime frames or other artists’ work.
- That it was not generated by artificial intelligence. In this first version the site does not accept images generated or substantially altered by AI.
- That it follows the Content Rules.
Third-party intellectual property
Pokémon and character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK Inc. We are not affiliated with any of them or with The Pokémon Company. The site only contains factual data and original community artwork (fan art).
If you believe an artwork infringes your rights, write to info@bedevcr.com following the takedown procedure in the Content Rules. We take the claimed content down while we review it.
Moderation
- Every artwork goes through automatic moderation before publication. It may be rejected with a reason; you can resubmit it corrected or appeal the decision by writing to us with the artwork’s identifier.
- The community can report artworks and comments. After a certain number of reports the content is hidden automatically pending review.
- We may hide or remove content and suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the Content Rules, notifying you by email except in serious cases or where the law prevents it.
XP, levels and the game
Experience (XP), levels, streaks and badges have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or redeemed, and may be adjusted to correct abuse or errors.
What you may not do
Use the site for unlawful activities; automate uploads, reports or game rounds; try to circumvent rate limits or moderation; scrape other users’ content in bulk; or interfere with the operation of the service.
Availability and liability
The site is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, pause or close it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site or for content uploaded by other users. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute is submitted to the courts of San José, Costa Rica, without prejudice to the consumer rights you hold in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version and date appear in the header. If the change is material we will ask you to accept it again when you sign in.
