Content Rules
What can be uploaded to Draw Them All Dex, what cannot, how moderation works and how to request a takedown.
The idea
Every Pokédex entry is illustrated with original community art. These rules exist so the site stays a safe place to draw, browse and learn — for young people too.
What is welcome
- Illustrations, paintings, sketches, pixel art, photographed sculptures and any other technique, as long as the work is yours.
- Photos of your drawing on paper or in your sketchbook: they count as your own work.
- Your own style. It does not need to look like the official design; it is enough that the Pokémon is recognisable.
What is not
Content is rejected or removed when it:
- Is not yours: official art, sprites, game screenshots, cards, anime frames, traces or copies of other artists’ work, or AI-generated images.
- Is sexual or contains nudity, explicit or suggestive, with any character. No exceptions: minors use this site.
- Is violent or gory: explicit blood, torture, serious injury or cruelty, even with fictional creatures.
- Promotes hate or harassment: hate symbols, attacks on people for their origin, gender, orientation, religion, disability or other condition; mockery aimed at other users.
- Does not depict a Pokémon or uses the entry for something else (advertising, unrelated memes, text instead of a drawing).
- Includes other people’s personal data, third-party watermarks, or links to sites that break these rules.
Comments follow the same rules: respect, no spam, no harassment.
How moderation works
- Automatic moderation on upload: image-classification systems review every artwork. If the score exceeds the threshold, or the review cannot confirm that the artwork meets the rules, it is rejected with a reason and you can resubmit it corrected. Animated images are not accepted.
- Community reports: any user can report an artwork or a comment. After a certain number, the content is hidden automatically.
- Human review: we do it for appeals, accumulated reports and takedown requests. We do not yet have a permanent moderation team; that is why the first two layers are strict.
An automatic rejection is not an accusation. If you think it got it wrong, appeal within 30 days of the rejection (after that the image is deleted): write to info@bedevcr.com with the artwork identifier shown in the notice and we will review it.
Consequences
Breaking these rules may lead to removal of the content, loss of the XP earned with it, suspension of the account or its closure. For unlawful content (for example, child sexual abuse material) we remove the content, close the account and report it to the authorities.
Requesting a takedown
If a published artwork infringes your copyright, your likeness or your personal data, write to info@bedevcr.com with:
- The link to the artwork or profile.
- Which right you consider infringed and why (if it is your work, a link to where you originally published it helps).
- Your name and a means of contact.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you act as the rights holder or with their authorisation.
We hide the claimed content while we review it and answer within 10 days. If the artwork’s author disagrees, we forward the claim to them and they may respond.
